How to be a digital citizen.
Developing responsible and effective online awareness
Summary of module
In this module you will build your digital citizenship skills. Life online is complex and being aware of how the internet works and our basic rights as users are a condition for us to be civic digital citizens. If your work happens online, having digital citizenship skills and awareness is a must. This three session module will walk you through the ins and outs of the features of the internet, and the ways it works: why it matters for us as individuals, how to behave online, and how to make sure we protect ourselves and others when on the internet. The more aware we are as internet citizens and as professionals the more we will make a fairer, smarter and balanced digitally enhanced society.
